I founded Pixel & Polly in 2016 because I like to wear unique graphic tees, especially ones that are pet-related. It is our goal to create shirts that are a little different and fun to wear.
Are Pixel & Polly real dogs?
Yes, Pixel and Polly live with me in Montgomery, Alabama. Pixel is a nine month old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix puppy (AKA The World’s Cutest Puppy). Pixel was born blind and came to me at eight weeks old as a foster dog for Blind Dog Rescue Alliance. Even though she is blind Pixel lives life like any other puppy, playing with her canine and feline siblings. It is amazing how well she finds her way around using her senses of smell and touch.
Polly is a 13 year old Toy poodle who was adopted from an animal shelter in Tennessee in 2007. She was picked up as a stray and her owner did not claim her. Polly weighs just seven pounds, but is definitely the top dog in this house.
Pixel & Polly supports pet rescue. When checking out customers have the opportunity to donate $1 for each shirt they buy to either the Bone-a-Fide Aussie Rescue Krewe or Blind Dog Rescue Alliance.
